I just completed watching the famous movie, Temple Grandin. Not many people know of this movie, but in my line, the name "Temple Grandin" is much talked about. She is one genius who was born autistic. A true story. Now, she is a famous professor at Colorado State University. I may not be the best teacher out there, but I know one day, my students will be new "Temple Grandin". I know one day, they will shock the world with their abilities and intelligence. Yes, I have that much faith in my students. Talking about faith, after praying today, I sat still thinking of my new year resolution. Every year, I aim to be a better person. To do well in studies. To be a better teacher. To be nice to others but, I forgot one very important thing which is to be a better Muslim. At times, I am so complacent and it made me forget my obligation as a Muslimah. And so, my resolution next year, is to be a good Muslimah in terms of prayers, attending more religious class, reading the Quran, to fast as often as possible and etc. Insyallah, with the strength and perseverance I receive from god. Amin. Have a blessed 2013, everyone.
