It was one short trip.
An unforgettable trip.
Of all the factory outlets, I love
two the most - Rumah Moda & The Secret.
Thanks to HJ, he knew some of
the good restaurants and my favourite so far
is The Valley. Its located at the top of
The Valley, overlooking the whole of Bandung.
The night view from the top of the Valley
is simply mignificent! I truly love the
experience I had shopping & the amazing restaurants.
Shoppin aside.
What truly amazed me is that the the simple
life of the locals.
I took the time to witness how the local
behaved and interacted on a daily basis.
Compare to us Singaporeans, they live
in poverty, with filty rubbish
every few metres around them.
I start to ponder and wonder how they ever manage
to live by, in such state of life.
And, just by looking at them,
I realized I am really lucky to be born
in Singapore and to be raised in a clean and orderly
country.
Many thoughts came to my mind.
What if I was stranded in Bandung
with no money & no means of communciation?
Would I ever survive a day?
No matter what struggles I went through,
there are others whom suffered more.
If I could, I will want to help more people in need.
Currently, I am providing free tuition
to a sweet girl who has complication
with her heart..
I have been doing so for the past 5-6 months,
and knowing this girl taught me how
to treasure life more.
She's one special girl who always strive to be better.
Perhaps both of us are born talkative,
that makes us click easily and tutoring her
is really a breeze!
She will be taking her N-Level next year
and as 2011 is approaching soon,
Im wishing her the best and Im always
here whenever she needs me!
To a good 2011! I believe in you! *winks*
