I guess Im just not the kind of person that can sit and listen
in a whole day lectures or workshops.
Recently, my school had the opportunity to be a host
for a big Congress event and about 700 odds delegates
from all over the world attended this Congress.
Besides swooning over Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan
whom I thought was indeed charming,
there were this Japanese speaker,
Mr Toshihiro Ogimura from Boston Higashi school
whom, was tall and broad, caught my eye too! =>
Its a pity, I did not managed to attend his workshop
2 days ago.
Back to my story.
I fell asleep upteem times listening to speaker
talk for hours.
But somthing catch my eyes.
Yes, this time, its not about good looking speakers
or the charming MP.
I was in awe when I heard about Boston Higachi school
which is located in Tokyo and in Boston.
I like the way the school is set up to provide an
enriching learning experience for students with Autism.
The focus in the school is about about being
"creative, creative and yes, creative!!"
Another school is Darlington Village which is a
Federattion of special and mainstream school all side by side.
They have a common facilities and what I like
about this school is that there students of
special needs and neurotypical can be part of an inclusive
society.
I guess IF im really bored living in Singapore,
I really really don't mind working overseas
and to learn more about the unique tools on
delivering excellent teaching effectively.
