Plan to go jogging with Jie Si backfired.
My body suddenly feels so weak till
this very moment! :((
Having a real bad headache and if I could,
I will WANT to bang this head of mine
on the wall!
Received a sms from a colleague of mine.
As she will be on sick leave tomorrow,
Ive got to cover her for
1) Maths 2) IT 3) Moral Education lessons!
One whole day of endless teaching.
Wondering I still can have my 1hr free period
since she wont be in class.
Hmm. Im feelin the Monday blues already.
Praying hard that there will be
no meltdowns by the kids.

NEWS FLASH!!
Since this term, the whole of Primary 2 is focusing
on Youth Olympic Games and I was assigned
on weight-lifting, I started the lesson
by doing a quick introduction and a hands-on
activity on making figurines of a
weight-lifter. My kids have some problems
creating one and so, I was on stand-by providing
guidance most of the time.
One sweet surprise was that one of
the more challenging boy managed
to complete it by himself and
that makes me so proud of him!
Was thinking of doing an olympic torch with them
next week! Sounds interesting right?!
Above are just two of the snapshots that
I took in my Financial class.
It was highly recommended to take
the above snapshots by our tutor.
It was informed that previous batches of class
have been doing the exact same thng!
When I was still at qn3, my tutor was already at qn 10!
A petite and sweet-looking lady BUT
when she starts teaching, GOSH! All hell breaks loose!
One very very very fierce tutor and she just
LOVE to call ur names as and when she likes!
Up to date, she still have not called up my name
but I have a feeling it will be anytime soon!
Melissa Lee Ng Yi Wen's 21st Birthday is
coming like on the 9th April.
Managed to gather around 10 people for her
surprise birthday celebration!
But, was thinking of getting a few more guys
(since one of them have a huge liking for her)
to join us!
Of course, it be a small celebration after night class
BUT timing is almost running out.
So far, since im in-charge, i NEED to get
a ) A birthday cake / birthday cupcakes
b) Victoria Secret presents
c) A birthday cards
d) Maybe a few birthday decor
THAT ASIDE.
Watched Confession of a SHOPAHOLICS
with the girls from work.
Struggling with her debilitating obsession with shopping
and the sudden collapse of her income source,
Rebecca Bloomwood unintentionally lands a job
writing for a financial magazine after a drunken letter-mailing mix-up.
Ironically writing about the very consumer
caution of which she herself has not abided,
Rebecca's innovative comparisons and unconventional
metaphors for economics grants her critical acclaim,
public success, and the admiration of her supportive boss Luke.
But as she draws closer to her ultimate goal of
writing for renowned fashion magazine Alette,
she questions her true ambitions and must determine
if overcoming her "shopaholic" condition
will bring her real happiness.
The movie is based on the bestselling novel
by Sophie Kinsella and starring Isha Fisher
as Rebecca.
The movie is pretty funny its those movies
that just brighten up your mood.
But somehow, I thought the plot was
abit bland and predictable.
It could be better but the bottomline
is, I HAD FUN WATCHING IT.
IM tired. Shoooo!

Youth Olympic Games?
So, anyone knows about the
YOG 2010?
I didnt know it was like NEXT year till
I met up with a few teachers for some
meeting and they were all enthu on this topic
and of course, my job this time round
is to enlighten my dearest kids
on YOG 2010 and do a mini presentations
on stage ( yet again) during Assembly!
After much discussions, I volunteered or
rather picked 'Weightlifting' amongst
the many other sports that will be in YOG
Outlines of the presentations
and teaching techniques are still vague
and so, it all boils down to me to
do a simple preparation for the upcoming
Friday class till I received more
resources from my dearest colleagues!
Life is a strange strange world.
We met new friends in each
stage of our life.
New colleagues. New lecture-mates.
But somewhow, I wonder what
really happen to those friends
when you were once upon a time
really close.
It amazed me on how a LIL misunderstanding
between two indivuals could lead
to a bigger misunderstanding and it drags
to be something much much serious
till that two close friends could
almost become strangers.
Maintaining a friendship is really simple.
Effort. Sincerity. To Forgive and Forget.
I believe what can be forgiven should be forgiven.
How could two friends who are close choose
to be a "hi-bye" friends?
What happened to those sharing of problems?
What happened to those crazy laughters?
What happened to you, dear friend??
Somehow, someday, it will be great if
we three could hang out again likehow we used to....
Ah huh, its the March holiday!
Glad it finally arrived yet,
I took this time to recharge my body
and of course, for my delicate eyes to recover.
As of 16th March 2009 TILL 28TH June 2009,
I have decided
to ......
1. Spend less in Shopping
Only SHOP for necessities! And NO MORE
shoes, bags, tops, unnecessary make-ups
and etc etc etc
2. Cut down movie outings
Shall ONLY watch when its the cheapest to buy
a movie tix OR better, wait for someone to TREAT ME!
3. Cut down on higher-end food and desserts
( Unless someone treats me ....)
4. CUT down on TALKING on the phone
-> Gosh, HP bills are like crazily high even
though Im not using it most of the time!
5. Stay at home more often so as to reduce
the above TEMPTATIONS 1-3.
Why I have to do all these?
Hmm, guess THOSE close to me will know the
....
....
....

Bubbles with the Kids!
Celebrated Bapak's birthday last Sunday.
Took my huge bottle of bubbles
and played with the kids.
A fun time of blowing bubblez,
karaoke and GOOOD food.
Im in my class right now
waiting for Azi and Nurul to finish their
work before we head to TOWN
for our late lunch and our movie!
First time ever watching movie with
the colleagues.
A cool bunch of girls!
Anyway, the saga of PCM Exam
is so not over.
We will be having a meeting tomorrow
with the class on how to settle it.
Various voices were heard
of which the most extreme
was :-
1) To obtain legal advice
2) To bring up the issue to strait times
3) To do 'sharing' with Stomp
I dont care what and how University of Manchester is
going to settle this issue BUT
the most important thing is
that they HAVE to be fair in marking our paper.
Period.

Post-Examination Period!
Working in a school comes
with a price.
Let's not dwell into stress
of handling the kids
but what price I want to highlight
here is that we have to wake
up as early as 5.30 am
as school starts at 7.30 am daily!
Im feeling the exhaustion right now
as lately, there has been lots of
'administrative' things to do after lessons.
Im rather excited for tomorrow
as it's my FIRST school outing
with the school!
Yap Yap, No lessons tomorrow!
Had a meeting earlier with some
of the people from the TPS Committee.
My class are invited to perform our
Egyptian Dance again on Global day
and and and,
some of us includin me
have to perform 'Hawaiian Dance'
on that day and
I was been choosen to be in the middle
leading them!!
Oh No! Why me?
My first ever performance infront
of the entire school . . .
Can I take MC on that day?
Tee-Hee!

Imagine our horror to know
we had to do 2 essay questions
when it was clearly informed that we only had to do ONE!
But , whatever!
I decided to stick to answering one question
which is...
" Describe, with the aid of examples, the
contemporary relevance of the concept
of 'MacDonaldization'.
One very interesting topic which I enjoyed
learning.
The irrationality of rationalities.
Seems like all of us are trapped in this
webeed of irrationalities.
The concept of MacDonaldization is
everywhere and its being part of our life.
Give you one example. Eating MaCdonald.
The advantage : Convenient food. Fast. Cheap
Yet, with the convenience, do you ever realize
that the irrationality of buying an under-nutrition food
and consuming it religiously day in and day out
yet, those in Africa is dying due to undernutrition.
Tell me, is this the irrationality of life?
Hehe. I better stop for now BEFORE
i start writing a thesis on the above topic.
Im glad exam is OVER!
Had a wonderful night with my girl, Jiesi
although there were times,
when she left me alone in Bakerzin
as she had some 'business' to do!
Heehehe.
Anyway, I love her!
She's one friend which will
stand by you no matter what.
I love her for being her.
I do pray that Mr. Ahem-Ahem
will make his move on her and
somehow, my sixth sense
is telling me that something
gooooooooooood is gonna
happen!
And babe, when that happened,
dont forget to treat me!
:)
